Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.

Spread the crescent roll dough out on a silicon mat or parchment paper and place that on a baking pan.
Bake in a 375 oven for 20 25 minutes until crescent braid is golden and cooked through.
In a separate bowl mix together the cream.
With a pastry brush lightly brush the beaten egg over the top of the crescent braid.
